Problem Note 52171: SAS® 9.3 Install Qualification Tool Validation Report shows validation errors after SAS® 9.4 installation

If SAS 9.3 (from a 32-bit order) and SAS 9.4 (from a 64-bit order) are both installed on the same computer, and the SAS 9.3 Installation Qualification Tool is run after SAS 9.4 has been installed, validation errors occur in the SAS 9.3 ValidationReport_yyy-mm-dd.hh.mm.ss.html file that is produced.

The messages look similar to those shown below. There might be as many as 200 occurrences. Note that these checksum messages do not indicate any problems with the installation or operational status of the SAS 9.3 or SAS 9.4 software.

Thus, the messages can be safely ignored. A fix for this issue is planned for a future release of SAS.
